Playing an integral role in liaising with ward nursing staff and the treating doctor, together with allied health professionals, you will facilitate timely and appropriate discharge or admission to the relevant ward. You will provide the interface between the Emergency Department and the inpatient medical wards and the Acute Assessment Unit to ensure the patient flow is managed efficiently and in a timely manner.
