Some of your duties will include:
Plan and coordinate daily mine development and production activities across the pit operations through the Minestar Fleet Management System
Assist in coordinating mine and development activities according to daily mine plans
Execute load and haul & manage reporting activities of all pits on a daily basis in accordance with the mine plans by prioritising AHS, manned machinery and people
What skills and experience do you need?
Minimum 5 years open pit experience, preferably with experience in operating computerised fleet management systems in large scale open cut operations
Strong planning, organisational and decision making skill
Experience or proven ability to multi task and prioritise under pressure (reading electronic data, using phone and two-way communication)

Typing and processing letters, along with manually checking calculations before entering data will form a crucial portion of this role. The ability to work efficiently to deadlines, and confidently liaise with all internal staff, contractors and internal departments such as Payroll and Human Resources is required. A positive approach to complete all tasks (data entry and filing) is a must.
