Challenger gold mine is located 600km north-west of Adelaide in the Gawler Craton region of South Australia. The Challenger mine initially started out as an open-cut operation in October 2002, before transitioning to underground operations during early 2004. Full scale underground production commenced early in 2005 and in March 2007, Challenger poured its' 10 th tonne of gold.
What skills and experience do you need?
You will have intermediate-advanced computer skills and be competent in using Microsoft Office, Word and Excel. Experience with JDE or Oracle will be highly regarded, as well as previous experience in managing site rosters and flights & accommodation. Experience working in a remote location, within the mining/construction industries, would be beneficial.
